Finally that dreadful November has given up and we’re steamrolling towards Christmas. I also got my steel-commutin’ Surly to my local bike shop to get the frame and wheels straightened and while at it, get the winter tires changed as well.
The riding weather is pretty good here now, it’s not too cold and it’s rather dry since it’s still below zero. While visiting the bike shop, we had a long chat about winter bikes and turns out there was a nice aluminum Mongoose Sabrosa 29er frame with and that really didn’t help with my mountain track fever.
Maarten is currently biking somewhere in Spain and soon we’ll be both riding again. More posts coming out our 29er projects and more gear reviews on their way as well! There are also discussions going on Facebook and Twitter, so join us there as well.
It’s Finland’s independence day here tomorrow, meaning we have a long weekend for chilling out – hope your weekend is great as well!
